My spring must haves - Wedged sandals!

Ok, so my current obsession is... wedged sandals!!
I absolutely LOVE them, I'm like really short, so I always need a bit of height in my shoes. And they're really spring-y and summer-y and I'm just obsessed with them! So I'm going to show you 2 of my favs :)

So the first pair, are these cute closed toe sandals from Kate Spade. They are really old, and are a pair of hand-me-downs from my mom but I adore them. They have these big flower pattern on them and are so pretty! Plus, they're not too high (around 1 to 1 1/2 inch, I'd say), so I don't have to worry about tripping! I wore them on my spring's fashion video, so go check it out if you haven't already!

Pretty right? Anyway, the next pair of sandals I'm going to talk about are from cutesygirl.com. They're actually really inexpensive for such good quality, and they're so adorable! They're a pair of black peep toe wedged sandals, and they have a sling back (is that how you call them? idk). They have this white outline and a bow at the front. BUT the thing is, these are so freaking high. They're I think 4 in. tall, and the platform is around 1 inch. The wedge does go thinner at the heel, so it's harder to walk in them. But on the whole, they're really comfortable and wedges are mostly easier to walk in than on stilettos. So, practice makes perfect! I'm going to walk in them at home.

P.S. they look great with red nails!

Aren't they just adorable?

So that's pretty much it! Thanks for reading and stay tuned :)

Spring 2011: COLOR BLOCKING!!!!!

Hey sweeties! One of the hottest trends this spring season is color blocking.

If you don't know what that means, it's pairing 2 or more bright colored pieces together. For example, pairing an emerald green top, with purple pants/jeans. Or just wearing one bright color for the whole outfit.

Lets look at some pictures from the Spring 2011 runway:

Aren't they all so fun and creative? I personally would not wear like that on the street, but what I do, is I do one or 2 bright colored accessories, like a LARGE sky blue tote or some apple green heels/flats.

A brand that I immediately thought about for this trend is Kate Spade. I love how she has these really fun and colorful pieces to instantly brighten up an outfit. Kate Spade is definitely a place I would find some great pieces for this trend.

My cat Whilly!

So some of you guys have asked me to upload some photos of my cat Whilly, so here they are!

Yes, he is huge. He's overweight and has an exceptionally big head. But he's a pure English Shorthair.
