Berlin Trip

It's been a while since I've updated with travel posts (or any posts in general). I know these are helpful for people planning to go places, and I get my inspirations from other blogs too. So here is a rundown of my trip to Marseille.

Day 1 We landed to Berlin that morning, and decided to go straight to sightseeing after dropping off our stuff at the Airbnb. We wanted to go to Spreewald (3-hour round trip travelling time), but considering the weather, it was not worth wasting the time traveling and being disappointed since Spreewald views are highly dependent on weather.

Airbnb with a disco ball and mood lights in the shower? Yes please.

What's a Berlin trip without visiting the Berlin Wall?

Checkpoint Charlie ('Murica)

Piri's Chicken Burgers - too good to be true

Topography of Terrors

Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe

Brandenburg Gate

Pork Knuckle and Wurst is a must, but nothing was really open, so we went to a bar (not the best, but it's not bad, so I'm not going to really recommend it)

Day 2 Breakfast - Culture - History

Amazing breakfast bowls at Daluma
Good food that is photogenic is a bonus

Berlin Cathedral

Inside

Lustgarten

Jewish Museum Berlin

Cool architecture

Fallen Leaves

Garden of Exiles

Bikini Berlin concept mall

Good drinks, good vibes (just very hard to fight for seating)

Day 3 Breakfast - Architecture - Potsdam

Amazingly filling full breakfast (croissants to-die-for)

It's free to go, but make sure to make an appointment to visit! Security is high since it is a working parliament building.

Honestly, so many friends told me that Berlin doesn't have much to do except seeing the Berlin Wall, but there is actually so much to watch and see. Our 3 days there was completely packed, and we didn't go to all the available museums. Definitely a good place to go if you're into history and culture.

Happy traveling!
